Chen Yu (陈瑜, 1962 – ), from Chenjiagou (Chen Village) of Henan Province, is the grandson of the late Chen Fake (陈发科, 1887 – 1957). As a tradition of the Chen Village, Chen Yu started his Taijiquan training at young age and taught Taijiquan independently at the age of 17. Chen has traveled all over China and around the world to spread the art of Taijiquan since the 1980s. Chen Yu has appeared in many television shows in China and abroad, he has also being featured by a lot of magazine. Chen Yu is the committee member of Chen Style Taijiquan Institute of Beijing Wushu Association, president of Chen Zhaokai Taijiquan Club and adviser of Chenjiagou Taijiquan Association and the vice principal of Chen Chenjiagou Taijiquan School.
