Cui Zhongsan (崔仲三, 1948 – ), from Hebei Province, was born in a Taiji family, which his grandfather, Cui Lizhi (崔立志, 1892 – 1970), was the founder of Beijing Yongnian Taijiquan Association and also a disciple of Yang Chengfu (杨澄甫, 1883 – 1936). Cui started Taijiquan at very young age under the supervision of his grandfather. Cui is a graduate from Beijing Sport University (formerly known as Beijing University of Physical Education). Cui Zhongsan is recognized as one of the representative figure of Yang Style Taijiquan in Beijing.
