Wei Shuren (魏树人) was born in Beijing in 1924, he started taijiquan learning in 1958 for health reasons, Wei then studied Yang Jianhuo Style Taijiquan (usually known as Yang Style Medium Frame Taijiquan or Laoliulu (Old-Six-Routine) under Wang Yongquan (汪永泉, 1904 -1987) in 1982. Wei Shuren has published books and instructional VCDs on Yang Style Medium Frame Taijiquan.
